There's a smell of gas — what should I do?

First of all, shut off the main gas valve immediately.

Then call an experienced engineer straightaway to carry out the necessary checks.

The cause could be a faulty gasket, the gas hose, or a tap.

We repeat a point we have made before: never take risks with gas.
