Archimede is a registered trademark of Numeri Primi Srl, an Italian limited company. The project grew out of hands-on experience in the repair trade and from managing thousands of service requests every day.
We aim to make appliance repair more organised, more transparent and more efficient. It is as straightforward as that.

What is Archimede?
Archimede is a European network of engineers and repair centres specialising in out-of-warranty appliance repair. We coordinate independent professionals in Italy, Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom, and we have been going since 2001.
What does "out of warranty" mean?
The manufacturer's warranty usually lasts 2 years from purchase. After that, your appliance is "out of warranty" and repairs are no longer covered by the manufacturer. Archimede repairs exclusively out-of-warranty appliances. If yours is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer's customer service.
How does the service work?
You contact Archimede by phone, online or via WhatsApp. We find the nearest engineer, who calls you for an assessment and books a home visit. You get a quote before any work starts, and the repair is covered by a 12-month guarantee.
How much does a repair cost?
It depends on the type of repair. The engineer gives you a detailed quote before going ahead. If you decide not to have the repair done, you only pay the call-out fee — the cost of the home visit — which is confirmed when you book.
What is the call-out fee?
It is the cost of the engineer's home visit. You only pay it if you decide not to go ahead with the repair after receiving the quote. If the repair goes ahead, the call-out fee is included in the total cost. The amount is confirmed before your appointment.
Where does Archimede operate?
In the UK, Archimede covers 8 cities. The network is also present in Italy (70+ areas), Spain and Germany. Each country has its own local sites with dedicated repair centres.
