The dryer doesn't finish the cycle and clothes aren't dry — what's wrong?

Engineer's advice

The first thing to check is the filters. Sometimes it helps to hold the filter up to the light to spot an invisible film that can easily be missed on a quick inspection.

If you do find this film, simply soak the filter in a basin with some descaler for about half an hour, then rinse it thoroughly.

This is something you can do yourself at home.

If the problem persists, the heat exchanger is likely clogged and needs cleaning.

That job should only be carried out by a qualified engineer.
